Description

As part of my research on culturally-inclusive web design, I was designing and building two prototypes with different web layouts and asked people from Japan and Austria to try them out and rate them.

“KITHIL Global ID” is a fictional company, providing a system accessed through a mobile application to replace a person’s travel passport. The website content is adapted from an existing Japanese and Austrian government website, serving in production as portals to sign-up or acquire a digital or semi-digital version of a federal ID card. On Japanese side the English variant of the My Number Card homepage is used. For Austria, the ID Austria homepage has been used.
