During my work at the Federal Environmental Agency Austria my main responsibility was to help modernize and extend the services of the Electronic Data Management (EDM) system. As the whole system is very extensive, with around 150 people in the software development department maintaining the system, teams were formed to each manage a sub-system. My team was responsible for the sub-system for centralized registration data (ZAReg).
During my time at ZAReg I was mainly working in the back-end on secure data migrations, implementing new data access points and data analysis. In the front-end I was in-charge of executing accessibility optimizations, making web accessible for everyone.
